I have never posted a blog before, this is a requirement of my MCJ 178 class at CSUF. I thought this would be the easiest way to start a blog for my reading assignment journal. The first thing I have to do is to read the "terms of service" pages. I will be back later with my official first entry in the correct format.

About the Animal Rescue Site
The Animal Rescue Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need -- providing food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year. Over 10 million animals are put to death every year in the US alone because they are unwanted, abandoned, or abused.
Each click on the "Feed an Animal in Need" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food for an animal at the North Shore Animal League America. This is the world's largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption center. Across the country, they rescue, nurture and restore pets to happy and healthy lives in loving homes. To date, they have rescued close to 1 million dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Funding for food is paid by site sponsors, whose banners appear after you click the button, and goes to our aforementioned charity partners.
The number of animals helped by the site depends on the number of visitors to The Animal Rescue Site. Please click every day, and encourage friends and family members to do so as well.
